I was pleasantly surprised by how well these mitts double as trivets—no need to hunt for a hot pad after pulling dishes from the microwave. The grip is secure even with heavier casseroles, and they’re thin enough to handle smaller bowls without slipping.

Pulled a piping hot casserole out of the microwave with these mitts and the grip was surprisingly solid, not slippery at all. They're thin enough to handle smaller dishes but still keep my fingers from getting burned. I've even tossed them on the counter as trivets without any heat damage.

I've been using these as trivets under hot pans and they double perfectly as mitts when pulling casseroles out of the oven. The fact that they work on either hand means I'm never fumbling to figure out which one goes where.
